Aquestive Director, President of Global Rare Disease at Angelini Pharma S.p.A.
Rich Daly is a biopharmaceutical executive with more than 30 years of leadership experience spanning global pharmaceutical companies, emerging biotechnology organizations, and public company boards. He currently serves as President, Global Rare Disease at Angelini Pharma S.p.A. following its acquisition of Catalyst Pharmaceuticals, where he served as President and Chief Executive Officer and led the successful U.S. launch of Agamree®.
Previously, Mr. Daly held senior leadership roles at Takeda Pharmaceutical Company, including Executive Vice President, Americas, where he led the company’s regional business and the integration of TAP Pharmaceuticals into Takeda. He later led the Bristol Myers Squibb and AstraZeneca Diabetes Alliance before serving as President of AstraZeneca’s U.S. Diabetes business, overseeing the launches of Farxiga® and Myalept®. He began his career in the biopharmaceutical industry at Abbott Laboratories.
Mr. Daly has also served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Neuralstem and held executive leadership positions at BeyondSpring Pharmaceuticals, Seed Therapeutics, and CARsgen Therapeutics. An experienced public company director, he has served on the boards of Catalyst Pharmaceuticals, Opiant Pharmaceuticals, Neuralstem, and Synergy Pharmaceuticals.
Mr. Daly brings to the Board deep expertise in commercialization, corporate strategy, organizational development, product launches, and business transformation across both specialty and primary care markets.
Our Board believes that Mr. Daly’s more than three decades of leadership experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, including his expertise in commercialization, product launches, corporate strategy, and public company governance, qualify him to serve on our Board of Directors.
